Press and starch all fabrics prior to cutting. Use a scant 1/4" seam.
12" finished block
From fabric 1, cut:
{A} (16) 2" squares
{B} (8) 2" x 3½" rectangles
From fabric 2, cut:
{A} (12) 2" squares
From fabric 3, cut:
{C} (8) 2” x 5” rectangles
From fabric 4, cut:
{D} (1) 3½” square
Join A and B units as shown to make corner units. Make 4.
Use the Easy Corner Triangle method to make chevron units. Mark the corner squares on the back with a pencil line. Sew on the marked line and trim 1/4” away. Press. Repeat on opposite corner. Trim and press.
Make 8 total units - 4 facing left and 4 facing right. Sew units together in pairs.
Lay out the units as shown. Sew the units into rows, then sew the rows together to complete block.
