Press and starch all fabrics prior to cutting. Use a scant 1/4" seam.

6 INCH BLOCK:
From fabric 1, cut:
{A} (10) 1½” squares
{B} (2) 2” squares
{D} (2) 2½” squares
From fabric 2, cut:
{A} (2) 1½” squares
{B} (2) 2” squares
{C} (2) 1 7/8” squares cut once on diagonal
{E} (2) 2 7/8” squares cut once on the diagonal
12 INCH BLOCK
From fabric 1, cut:
{A} (10) 2½” squares
{B} (2) 3” squares
{D} (2) 4½” squares
From fabric 2, cut:
{A} (2) 2½” squares
{B} (2) 3” squares
{C} (2) 2 7/8” squares cut once on diagonal
{E} (2) 4 7/8” squares cut once on the diagonal
Draw a pencil line on the wrong side diagonal of 1 Fabric 1 square. Pair with Fabric 2 square. Sew ¼” away from each side of the pencil line. Cut apart on the line and press to the darker print.
Use HSTs and plain squares to make four patch units. Make 2.
Repeat with plain squares to make plain 4-patches.
Join triangle units to square as shown. Press. Join larger triangle and press again. Repeat to make 2 of the Star Point units.
Join block units as shown.
